T-Bucket Forums statistics - 13 April
April 13th, 2008 by adminIn looking over the weekly statistics for the T-Bucket Forums, I am really amazed at the incredible growth we are seeing this month.
A little over one week ago, we moved the T-Bucket Forums to a Virtual Private Server, hosted by KnownHost. We saw an immediate and dramatic increase in page load speeds after the move. And with the exception of just one day out of the last seven, our site hit counts have been higher than anything we had ever seen before. Two days ago, after monitoring our VPS resources for a few days, we made the decision to double the amount of guaranteed RAM for the VPS. It was minor, but we once again saw a slight increase in page load speeds. It has added to the monthly hosting expense, but we were regularly using 80% of the RAM, so we felt it was better to be safe, rather than sorry.
After just 12 days in April, our total hit count for the site is at 56.03% of the March 2008 total. Comparing March 2008 to April 2008, our average hit counts per day is up 34% And we have already used 77.36% of the bandwidth we used in March.
