Which tires would you recommend Hoosiers or Mickey Thompson S/R Picking up my t and needs rear tires ?

Welcome Putz, I'm running 31/16.50r15 Hoosiers on mine,they are a great tire. It is a smooth riding tire. I can't comment on M/T's as I've never run them. I did however compare prices. The Hoosiers are tubeless radials and the M/T's are tube type bias ply and when you include the cost of the tubes its a wash pricewise.

I wouldn't give ya $.02 for the old Mickey Thompson bias ply tires, but the new radial ones I'm very happy with, and also don't require a tube...

Welcome Putz: Where are you located? New to "T" buckets?

I am located in northern wisconsin.I used to wire hotrods back in the late 80s before kits. A couple of cars I worked on were T's. In my book it is the ultimate rod.
