Square tube bender
Oct 13, 2008 - 3:10 PM - by Youngster
One of the projects in the shop now is a '27 roadster body that has been channeled sometime in it's history. The present owner wants to build it as a hiboy. HEI Timing
Oct 10, 2008 - 7:04 AM - by Wild Mango
Price of gas being what it is makes us aware of the importance of a correct tune. (down here $2:00 a litre is common) I have used this little trick for years on HEI's, it works for other similar systems as well.

Deflection formula for comparing different tubing sizes
Sep 23, 2008 - 2:03 PM - by RexRod
Hello All,

I stumbled across a little math that allows us to compare the strength of different sizes of tubing. I thought it was interesting, so I am doing a write up in the hope that others will find it useful as well. Please remember to use common sense, and be careful when making important decisions about critical structural components. It's not my fault if you kill yourself!

The idea behind this formula is simple. It allows us to measure the deflection at the end... [Read More]
