Welcome to the T-Bucket Forums!

We're happy you've decided to join our active forum, by registering a new account. This registration will allow you to use all of the features of the T-Bucket Forums. You will be able to participate in our discussions, upload images to our photo gallery, use the forum's private messaging system and much more.

In an effort to answer some of the oft-asked questions about our registration process, we've added this page to explain the process to you.

First of all, you will be able to select a unique username to identify yourself on the forums. Some people like to use their given names, or a nickname. Others are active on many forums and use the same username on all. The choice is up to you.

You will also be required to supply us with a valid, working e-mail address. And we do have limitations on the addresses you will be able to use. Please see THIS POST for more information.

In short, we do NOT accept new registrations using either Yahoo or Hotmail e-mail addresses. Like it or not, that is how it has been for well over a year and that is how it is going to remain. If you feel inclined to send me a message to complain about this policy, save your time and energy - I've been ranted and railed at by the best and the policy still stands. We are not going to change the policy and we are not going to make exceptions. We take our Privacy Policy very seriously, so you can be comfortable using the e-mail address provided by your Internet Service Provider.

Why do we require a valid e-mail address? For several reasons, one of which is to cut down on spam-bot registrations.

When you register, an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you supplied, with some instructions on how to confirm your e-mail address and complete your registration process. This step MUST be completed and your account will have virtually no privileges until you have taken this final step. If you have not confirmed your e-mail address within seven days, your account will be deleted. So be sure to give us a valid address and keep your eyes open for the e-mail confirmation message. The message will generally arrive within minutes, so if you don't see it, check your spam or junk folders to see if your security software has placed it there.

From time to time, we will send e-mails to our members, to notify them of changes and additions made to the forums. For this reason, we obviously need each member's valid e-mail address.

We recognize many people are concerned about sharing private details, so you will be able to read our Privacy Policy for more information.

You will also be required to enter a password for your account. We cannot stress how important this password is to you. Please use something unique, keep it private and change it often. Do not use your username as your password, that is the easiest crack going and you're going to end up wondering who has been accessing your account. Did I mention how you should be changing that password on a regular basis?

There is also a RE-CAPTCHA Image Verification system that will present you with two words. Please type the words, EXACTLY as you see them. If a character is capitalized in the image, then you will need to capitalize it, as well. This is another system we use to prevent spam-bot registrations. Yes, the images are difficult to read. This is done for a specific reason. If you cannot read the two words, click on the reload link, next to the images, for a new challenge. If you are vision-impaired, you can opt for an audio challenge, instead. We recognize this can be a frustrating step, but you will appreciate the lack of spam on this site, once you have registered.

If you follow these instructions carefully, you will have no problems setting up your new account. If, for some reason, you are experiencing difficulties, please use the send a detailed description of your difficulties to webmaster (all lower case) at this domain name (tbucketeers.com). If you are just in the mood to complain about our 'discrimination' against Yahoo and Hotmail users, please don't waste either your time or my own.

And by now, you're tired of reading and want to get on with it, so please click on the link below, and you'll be on your way!
