The front of my T sits lower than I like. I figured there were 2 ways to easily raise it. Add a spacer top of the spring or put the spring connection of the shackle above the frame mount. I now have the shackles turned up and like the hight it added. Any comments on doing this? I found pics on here with shackles both ways.

Spacers on top of the spring are the most common way to raise the front. If you have a spring with the eye on top of the leaf, you can reshape the main leaf to move it to the bottom, giving you about an inch of heigth.

Here is a pic of the before i flipped the shackles. I'm not 100% sure of what your saying, does it look like I could do that? Is there any problem with what I did? THX

you have what is called a "Reverse eye spring" the shackle eye is above your spring the stock spring has the eye below the spring which will raise your front end a little over 1 inch.Trading that spring for a standard spring from one of the guys building on here should be pretty easy as most guys WANT the reversed eye!I don't think that running your shackles over the spring perches like that is a good idea I think you will find it ruins the handling because of the pivot point being above the axle rather than in line or below the axle center line.The best thing you could do is PM Ted Brown he'll have the answers you need.I would swap that spring before I'd reverse it you have the advantage there as the reverse eye is the more sought after spring a straight up swap for a standard spring should be quick and easy.

I did the spring swap and it worked stopped my drag link from hitting frame on bumps.

Bucketkid: Just a piece of steel ( I used 1" thick) shaped the same as the front perch .Drilled the same hole pattern and put it between the perch and the spring. Used new longer bolts.

You have a standard spring on there already .. don't swap it out. Best method would be the spacer between the spring and the perch. Aluminum will also work here and is easier to find in thicker pieces. You could also make several 1/4" spacers so you can tune this area later.
